Is browsing projects free?
Yes. You can browse client projects for free and only submit an offer when you're interested.
What commission does Sewi charge?
Creators receive 100% of the agreed payment for completed projects. Sewi does not charge creators any commission on their earnings. Any platform fees are transparently shown to the client before they complete their order.
When will I get paid?
Your payment will be released within a few days after the client confirms that the project has been completed. The full amount goes directly to you. For your first project, the payout may take a little longer due to additional account verification and transaction security checks. Future payouts are processed as usual.
What if the client doesn't pay?
That won't happen. Clients pay Sewi upfront when they accept your offer. The funds are securely held in escrow throughout the project.
What if the client isn't satisfied with my work?
You'll have access to Sewi's dispute resolution process. Sewi reviews each case fairly rather than automatically siding with the client.
Do I have to accept every project I receive?
No. You can decline any project without giving a reason and without affecting your profile.
Can I set my own prices?
Yes. Every offer you send includes your own price, terms, and delivery timeline. Sewi doesn't set or limit your rates.
How can I build a reputation if I'm one of the first creators and don't have any reviews?
Early creators receive early access and priority profile visibility, helping them secure their first projects and reviews more quickly.
When can I start accepting projects?
The app is scheduled to launch in Fall 2026. By joining the waiting list now, you'll be among the first creators to receive access.
Can I be both a Client and a Creator?
Currently, this requires two separate accounts. In the future, we plan to introduce the ability to switch between Client and Creator roles within a single account.
